These 2 A\/C GRANITE SUITES<\/strong> bungalows are extremely special. They are made of 3 structures, called Chatram and\u00a0have been\u00a0reclaimed\u00a0from Mahabalipuram, Tanjore and Coimbatore district.
\nThese very exclusive house enclosed with very high\u00a0glass pannels, have an attached bathroom\u00a0and\u00a0a terrace overlooking a very large\u00a0private garden. They are close to the swimming pool and the beach
\nThey are said to be from 9th,\u00a010th and 15th century.
\nChatram in Tamil\u00a0use to be open structure in bricks and granite built by the local kings for the pilgrims to rest and sleep on the way to the temple festivals.\u00a0Endowing pilgrims and pilgrimage was considered important and special care and facilities were provided. The most important pilgrimage route in South India was the one that led to Rameswaram. Along this route, 18 Chatrams were built and patronized by the Maratha Kings in the 18th and 19th Centuries.<\/p>\n

The KARAIKUDI SUITE<\/strong>, designed by French craftsman Vincent Grimaud<\/b>, is situated at the base of the Tower suite.
\nThe architectural items of the Chettinad mansion, such as the granite pillars, teak wood floors, paintings, and furniture, are used in its construction. It provides you with the ultimate Chettinad Mansion experience.
\nThe antique windows, teakwood pillars, and door carvings display the exquisite original work of Chetinad

SURYA SUITE <\/strong> sits at the bottom of the Dune tower. It has been beautifully designed by French Craftsman Vincent Grimaud, it is a large suite with an open bathroom and a separate toilet.
\nSurya means\u00a0Sun in Tamil and the room has special lights designed by Vincent Grimaud. It has an indoor and an outdoor lounge with a small private garden.
\nThe bedroom area continues into bathtub and it is ideal for couple.<\/p>\n
