Alaya means Soul in Sanskrit, and our ecolodge is the perfect place to forget the retreat, enjoy the silence, and to feel in touch with your soul again.
Dune Alaya Ecolodge is a lush green oasis, with wooden heritage cottages, tastefully furnished with antiques. Many people that visit this place have said that it has a very magical healing energy. It is situated at the foothills of the Bali National Park – known for its stunning pristine flora and fauna.
The ecolodge provides the option for single Cottage bookings, or full Ecolodge bookings for groups. Dune Alaya has a large swimming pool with a stunning view of the mountains, and a large multifunctional hall for activities. The place also includes areas for dining, lounging and sit-out garden spaces – so that those staying here will have the chance to feel closer to nature.
Dune Alaya, is located in central Pemuteran town, located in the Northeast of Bali. Pemuteran is surrounded by an amazing landscape; with the Tiga Saudara (three siblings) mountains at the back, and the Java volcano’s alley in front. It is a relatively new tourist destination, 124 km from the Airport; and away from the hectic South. The National Park area is spared from the effects of heavy tourism which has preserved its original character, pristine beaches and forests.
Dune Alaya is about a 10min walk, or 2 min drive away from the closest beach. There are ample restaurants, pharmacies and grocery shops nearby. The ecolodge is located at the foot of hills, providing a fantastic opportunity for short or longer hikes – with stunning panoramic views! There is a great choice of activities in the surrounding; like diving or snorkelling at the Bio-rock or Menjangan Island, and Temple Tours, Bird Watching, Hiking or traditional Balinese Massages.
